You can use a variety of programs to create concept maps. In fact, there are software programs specifically for creating these (Visio, Inspiration, etc.). However, two of the simplest ones to use are Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Below are sample files that contain the basic shapes and lines necessary to create a concept map. Save the files locally on your computer and after opening them, copy and paste the shapes and modify the words.
