Program Cost

“I did this because it was something I always wanted to do. I didn’t feel like I could just quit and go back to college professionally or financially. I don’t know how anyone could have a career and get their masters any other way. ”

Because the M.S. in Agronomy program is offered at a distance, many of the costs associated with getting a masters degree are no longer a concern. Students can keep their current employment and have no need to relocate. In addition, all students in the program regardless of their location are assessed in-state tuition. This is made possible by cooperation with Continuing and Distance Education (CDE). The M.S. in Agronomy Program follows Iowa State University graduate tuition rates, which can be viewed at the Tuition and Fees CDE web page. Aside from tuition costs, students in the program will need to pay a delivery fee for course materials, textbook costs, and travel, lodging, and meal expenses for on-campus visits.
