Typical Plan of Study

“You don’t have to take time off from work or be away from family . . . So I guess to me it is very convenient. You can go at your own pace regarding your number of classes that you take. And of course you don’t even have to go to campus if you don’t want to.”

The time required to complete the M.S. in Agronomy degree is flexible and depends upon your personal situation. Although it is possible to complete the degree in two years, most students enroll in only one or two courses per semester while working full time. Therefore, most students require between three and five years to complete the degree. As a general guide, students typically invest 8-12 hours per week for each course. For your convenience, a sample 2 course per semester timeline and a 1 course per semester timeline are available for download.
